Ethan, each phone is different when it comes to updates, especially when it comes to anything 2.x. If i am not mistaken, you are running a HERO correct?
Well, if so, HERO runs SenseUI. so not only does the 2.x rom have to be designed to run on your phone, but also has to be redesigned with SenseUI in mind. This of course is not the job of Google, but the job of the Manufacturer, in this case HTC. But with looking at designing their new line of phones as a priority, the "older" phones get kind of forgotten.

however, with root, The HERO runs 2.x pretty well.

I wasnt to sure sure about the Mytouch. Hopefully it doesnt, cause then my gf will have a better phone than me. Thus resulting in an "accident" with her phone and my foot.

As for the G1 shoof, no news yet. Havent had the chance to go to Oxford city centre (Closest T-Mofo shop). But as soon as ive been there ill Gtalk and ya and let ya know. Sorry for the delay buddy.
